Position: Oracle Payroll Consultant
Location: Talbot - 1 day per week on-site (Negotiable)

The role involves leading workshops to gather requirements, guiding teams towards solutions, and designing and building them. It also includes showcasing progress, preparing documents, and collaborating with offshore teams for Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience, expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll, advanced UK payroll knowledge, and the ability to configure it in Oracle HCM Cloud. Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills are crucial, along with flexibility and experience working with unions and labor agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in workshops to gather requirements.
  • Guide both implementation and business teams towards understanding and achieving the best solutions for business needs.
  • Design and build solutions.
  • Conduct sessions to showcase progress.
  • Create solution design documents and configuration workbooks.
  • Collaborate closely with an offshore team to ensure a comprehensive implementation of Oracle Cloud Payroll.
  • Senior Associate with over 10 years of experience, including expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation.
  • Serve as the implementation consultant overseeing the entire process from "zero-to-gross" payroll processing to final pay processing and other related tasks.
  • Advanced understanding of UK payroll procedures.
  • Ability to configure UK payroll within Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Experience coordinating between payroll business teams and implementation leads.
  • Proficiency in training key users and generating payroll-related reports.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and individuals to achieve common objectives.
  • Negotiation skills for achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Preferred experience in payroll implementation, particularly involving unions and labor agreements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to schedules based on implementation plans.
  • Experience working as a Payroll Implementation Consultant in implementation programs.
  • Familiarity with payroll-related Fast Formulas.
