Adaptive Planning Solution Architect

Join our client's team as an Adaptive Planning Solution Architect, where your role will be pivotal in delivering, implementing, and configuring Workday Adaptive Planning solutions for their diverse global clientele. As an expert in the Workday Adaptive Planning solution, you'll lead with technical proficiency, share knowledge, and demonstrate thought leadership both internally and externally.


- Offer technical expertise on the Workday Adaptive Planning solution, maintaining proficiency and certification in the suite.
- Oversee all stages of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects, including understanding client processes, suggesting solutions, guiding design sessions, and making configuration decisions.
- Enhance pre-sales productivity by leading qualification processes and improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a small team, focusing on enhancing employee performance and fostering career growth.
- Contribute to building capability within your area or region, including attracting, recruiting, developing, and mentoring talent.

- Strong customer orientation with the ability to establish trusted relationships and effectively manage customer expectations.
- Extensive background in accounting/financial management, particularly in budgeting, planning, and management reporting.
- Experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion).
- Demonstrated ability to lead consultant teams in delivering complex technology solutions.
- Expertise in Excel, especially in designing and constructing financial planning models.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in Workday or SaaS delivery methodologies.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in German.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites within the same region (minimal out-of-region travel may also be required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Professional accounting qualification(s) such as CPA, CMA, CIA, or ACCA.
- Experience in developing and delivering distinctive products, offerings, and services.
- Ability to identify and rapidly develop talent within the capability.
