Workday Technical Lead
Location: Culver City, CA
Working Model: 3 to 4 days on-site per week

We are looking for an experienced Workday Technical Lead to serve as the technical owner and architect for a large Workday platform and wider People Technology ecosystem.
This role will own the technical strategy across Workday Security, Integrations, data architecture, governance and platform optimization. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, Information Security and Enterprise Architecture while providing direction to internal teams, vendors and managed-service partners.

This role will own the technical strategy across Workday Security, Integrations, data architecture, governance and platform optimization. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, Information Security and Enterprise Architecture while providing direction to internal teams, vendors and managed-service partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical health, stability, security and scalability of Workday.
- Define the roadmap across Security, Integrations, data and technical debt.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions and solution approvals.
- Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks and security governance.
- Oversee production support, SLAs, monitoring, incident management and root cause analysis.
- Govern AMS teams, developers, offshore resources and external vendors.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, integration inventories and data flows.
- Ensure alignment with SOX, GDPR, audit and enterprise security requirements.
- 10+ years of enterprise technology experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience.
- Deep expertise across Workday Security and Integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF and APIs.
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, business processes and data architecture.
- Experience integrating Workday with third-party HR and enterprise platforms.
- Experience owning architecture decisions, production support and technical roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Culver City 3 to 4 days per week.
- Workday certification in Integration, Security, HCM or a related area.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi or Informatica.
- Experience supporting global Workday environments.
- Exposure to Agile, DevOps and IT service-management practices.
