Focus Cloud is supporting an established Workday consulting partner with the appointment of a Workday Payroll Associate Director.
This is a brand-new Associate Director position created to strengthen and scale an already established Workday practice. The organisation has an active portfolio of Workday deployments, an experienced consulting team and continued demand for Payroll expertise.
They are now looking for someone who can operate above individual project delivery - providing Associate Director-level oversight across the Payroll capability while remaining close enough to delivery to step into complex engagements when required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Associate Director-level oversight across multiple Workday US Payroll implementations and ensure consistently strong delivery.
• Help scale the Payroll capability through mentoring, team development, resource planning and future hiring.
• Define and improve Payroll delivery standards, methodologies and repeatable implementation approaches.
• Act as a senior escalation point on complex Payroll programmes while remaining capable of getting close to configuration and solution design when necessary.
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, scoping and estimation as the Workday practice continues to grow.

What we are looking for

• Active Workday US Payroll implementer certification is required.
• Significant Workday Payroll implementation and deployment experience within a Workday partner or consulting environment.
• Current or recent experience operating at Senior Manager, Principal, Associate Director or comparable senior level.
• Demonstrable experience leading Workday Payroll consultants, workstreams, projects or wider delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of the wider PATT landscape, with Time Tracking, Absence and Core HCM experience highly valuable.

Package and working model

• Around $200,000 base salary depending on experience.
• Annual bonus opportunity of up to approximately 15%.
• Permanent US-based position with flexibility on home location.
• Approximately 30-50% travel depending on project and client requirements.
• Associate Director opportunity within an established Workday partner with significant scope for continued progression and influence.

This is a particularly strong opportunity for somebody who has already proven themselves as a Workday Payroll implementation leader and is ready to step into an Associate Director position with responsibility beyond a single deployment.
