Workday Payroll Processing Lead

Here at Focus Cloud, we are partnering with a leading organisation who are seeking an experienced Payroll Processing Specialist to support their payroll operations team on a long-term engagement.

This is a hands-on role focused on high-volume US payroll processing, working closely with internal HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution. Workday Payroll experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end US payroll activities accurately and on schedule
• Validate payroll data, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll queries
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data integrity
• Support payroll audits, reporting, and compliance activities
• Maintain payroll records and ensure adherence to company policies

Key Requirements:

• Strong payroll processing experience within a US payroll environment
• Hands-on Workday Payroll experience (essential)
• Proven ability to manage high-volume payrolls with accuracy
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxes, and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• 10+ years of payroll experience preferred, with senior-level payroll expertise highly regarded

Details:

• Immediate start
• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Initial 6-month engagement with potential extension
• Remote opportunity aligned to Eastern Time
