About the Role:
The Workday Financials Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of Workday Financials solutions for a predominantly French-speaking client base. This senior role involves working closely with clients, implementation partners, and internal teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and optimized financial systems. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Workday Financials and configuration and will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design and configuration of Workday Financials modules, including core financials, accounting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and implementation partners to define technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Support system testing, data migration, and integration activities.
• Provide guidance on best practices for Workday Financials configurations, including Accounting Center, Adaptive Planning, and Reporting.
• Drive system optimisation, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a technical and functional subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards during the implementation.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with Workday Financials, including at least 3 years in a consulting or implementation environment.
• Proven ability to configure and implement Workday Financials modules, with specific experience in core finance, accounting, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Workday certifications, particularly in Core Financials.
• Fluent in French and English; German language skills are a plus.
• Experience working with multinational clients and delivering solutions in complex financial environments.
• Prior experience in a similar role within a consultancy or end-user organisation, managing stakeholder relationships and requirements.

Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Experience with Accounting Center, Adaptive Planning, and Workday Reporting modules.
• Background supporting financial system optimisation and process improvements.
• Familiarity with integration tools and data migration practices within Workday projects.

Technologies / Tools / Methodologies:

• Workday Financials, including Core Financials, Accounting Center, Adaptive Planning, and Reporting.
• Workday certification in Core Financials (mandatory).
• Solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, and deployment best practices.
• Stakeholder management and change management methodologies.

Dealbreakers / Non-Negotiables:

• Mandatory Workday Financials Core Financials certification.
• Minimum of 7 years’ professional experience with Workday Financials, including implementation experience.
• Fluency in French (speaking, reading, writing).
• Based in France; legal right to work in France is required.

Location & Working Pattern:

• Based in France, primarily on-site with some remote flexibility.
• Travel may be required to client sites as needed.

Salary & Benefits:

• €70,000 - €110,000 annual salary depending on experience and profile.
• Permanent employment (CDI).
