Workday Financials Analyst
Location: Central London | Working pattern: Hybrid

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Workday Financials specialist to take the lead on one of the business’ key finance systems. You’ll be the go-to expert for configuration, reporting and day-to-day support, working closely with Finance and senior leaders to get the most out of the platform. This is a role with genuine ownership and visibility.

The role

• Own the configuration and ongoing improvement of Workday Financials, resolving issues and spotting opportunities to make the system work better.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards that turn business questions into clear, reliable insight.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, management accounting and wider leadership, explaining options clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Train and support users across the business, and contribute to documentation.
• Provide functional input on integrations, take part in testing and release activity, and help shape the roadmap, including automation and AI-enabled tools.

What we’re looking for
Essential

• Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Financials
• A solid grasp of accounting principles and how they work in Workday
• Strong experience building Workday reports and dashboards
• Sharp analytical skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently
• Confident communication with Finance and senior stakeholders

Desirable

• Workday Financials integration experience
• Customer or intercompany billing experience
• Multi-entity or multi-country finance exposure
• Knowledge of the Workday security model
• Workday Pro certification in Financials and/or Reporting
