Workday Project Planner & Coordinator - Testing & Cutover
Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Project Planner & Coordinator to support the Workday implementation, with a strong focus on detailed test planning, coordination and cutover preparation. In this role you will work closely with the Test Manager, Cutover Manager and project workstreams to ensure testing activities are properly planned, dependencies are managed, and the project is ready for cutover and go-live.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the detailed testing plan, including activities, milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
- Coordinate testing activities across functional and technical workstreams.
- Track testing progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and readiness against the project plan.
- Coordinate with the Test Manager on execution of test cycles and required follow-up activities.
- Ensure dependencies between testing, defect resolution, deployment and cutover are clearly identified and managed.
- Support the Cutover Manager in developing and maintaining the detailed cutover plan and runbook.
- Coordinate cutover activities, owners, dependencies and completion criteria across project teams.
- Support cutover rehearsals and overall go-live readiness.
- Facilitate planning and status meetings and drive follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide clear status reporting and manage risks, delays and dependencies that could impact testing or cutover.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Strong Project Planner & Coordinatoion experience in large-scale system implementation or digital transformation projects.
- Previous Workday implementation experience in this role is mandatory.
- Experience coordinating or planning system testing, SIT, E2E testing and/or UAT.
- Experience planning & supporting cutover and go-live activities.
- Strong planning skills and ability to manage detailed schedules with multiple dependencies.
- Ability to work across functional, technical, data and business teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in a complex, multi-workstream project environment.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on execution and follow-through.
