You will play a key role in designing and implementing Business Central solutions that align with the client’s financial processes and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a particular focus on financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, define business processes, and translate these into functional specifications.
- Configure Business Central to support end-to-end financial processes and reporting needs.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with finance and accounting teams.
- Provide guidance on best practices in financial systems implementation, data migration, and financial controls.
- Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries during and post-implementation.
- Support integrations between Business Central and other systems such as payroll, CRM, and banking platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and post-go-live support.
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) with a specialization in financial modules.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles – ideally with hands-on experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementations – from discovery through to deployment and support.
- Ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Microsoft certifications in Business Central (preferred but not essential).
- Fluent German and English speaking
- Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, or Jet Reports.
- Exposure to multi-entity or international finance structures.
- Familiarity with industry-specific financial reporting or compliance requirements.
