The successful consultant will play a key role in defining and overseeing data architecture across legacy Oracle environments and modern Azure-based platforms, ensuring scalable, reliable, and governed data movement across multiple systems.
This is a hands-on architecture role within Agile delivery teams, requiring strong technical leadership and practical delivery experience in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and oversee data architecture for:
- Data Sync processes
- Bulk data loading strategies
- Legacy RMV3 decommissioning activities
- Lead data migration and integration activities across Oracle-based legacy systems and Azure cloud platforms
- Provide oversight and guidance for Azure-based data pipelines and orchestration patterns
- Establish and support data quality, validation, reconciliation, and governance processes
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and programme stakeholders to align data solutions with transformation objectives
- Support scalable ETL/ELT and near real-time integration patterns
- Contribute hands-on within Agile delivery teams across design, implementation, and delivery phases
- Strong experience in data architecture and enterprise data modelling
- Proven experience working with:
- Legacy database platforms (particularly Oracle)
- Modern cloud-based data platforms
- Strong Azure data stack experience including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure SQL
- Azure Service Bus
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and near real-time data integration patterns
- Demonstrated delivery experience within large-scale transformation programmes and multi-system enterprise environments
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced Agile delivery teams
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting legacy platform decommissioning programmes
- Exposure to enterprise data governance frameworks
- Experience working within regulated or complex operational environments
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud and integration architectures
- Fully remote within Canada
- Contract engagement (C2C)
- Paid in USD
- Initial 6-month term with potential extension
