We have an exciting contract opportunity for an Interim Workday Architect to join a large Workday implementation at a critical point, immediately ahead of parallel payroll testing. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you will act as the client-side technical authority, stabilising the solution, reducing risk, and driving readiness through testing, go-live, and early stabilisation.

- Identify weak points fast and stabilise cross-module design and dependencies
- Oversee Prism analytics validation for payroll reconciliation and audit-ready outputs
- Lead technical triage of defects and decide fix now vs defer with mitigation
- Support cutover readiness, production migration, go-live, and early hypercare
- 10+ years hands-on Workday experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations
- Proven late-stage programme stabilisation experience, ideally at parallel payroll phase
- Strong configuration depth across HCM, Payroll, Time, Absence, Benefits, Comp, Recruiting
- Prism governance experience for reconciliation, variance, and payroll validation use cases
- Advanced Workday knowledge in security, BPF, eligibility rules, and calculated logic
- Client-side architect background or senior SI architect on contract engagements
- Strong integration oversight experience across payroll, time, benefits, and recruiting tools
- Comfortable joining with incomplete documentation and making fast, practical decisions
