The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex enterprise data migration workstream within a large-scale transformation programme.
This is a client-facing role requiring exceptional delivery management, stakeholder engagement and governance experience, with responsibility for driving a critical migration workstream from planning through to implementation.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering enterprise Data Migration, System Migration, Application Migration, Cloud Migration or ERP Migration programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards.

Please Note - Only Applicants with clear extensive Project Management experience overseeing highly complex data workstreams can/ will be considered for this role. 
This contract role will be supporting a Large Enterprise Global customer so a background of large programmes, highly desirable 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex enterprise data migration workstream within a large-scale transformation programme.
• Develop, own and maintain detailed project plans, integrated schedules and delivery milestones.
• Manage RAID logs, proactively identifying, tracking and mitigating risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Drive delivery across business and technical teams, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and key milestones.
• Coordinate migration planning, data readiness, testing, validation, cutover planning and implementation activities.
• Manage project scope, timelines, priorities and resource planning to ensure successful delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, technical teams and third-party vendors.
• Provide regular project status updates, executive reporting and governance documentation to programme leadership and steering committees.
• Facilitate prioritisation of deliverables, manage cross-functional dependencies and remove delivery blockers.
• Ensure delivery adheres to PMO standards, governance processes and project controls.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience delivering complex enterprise data migration projects or workstreams.
• Proven experience leading one or more of the following:
  • Data Migration
  • Migration Projects
  • System Migration
  • Application Migration
  • Cloud Migration
  • ERP Migration
• Demonstrable experience managing large-scale enterprise projects from initiation through to implementation.
• Strong experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, governance and executive reporting.
• Proven expertise managing RAID logs, dependencies, risks, issues and change control.
• Experience leading cross-functional business, technical and vendor teams.
• Excellent client-facing communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable Experience

• Experience delivering migration programmes involving Azure, Azure Databricks, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Snowflake or other enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working within large enterprise or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance, data quality, migration validation and cutover planning.
