Role overview

We are supporting a healthcare organisation delivering a UKG implementation focused on Time & Attendance (time tracking). This role will help configure, test, and deploy UKG timekeeping processes in a complex environment with shift patterns, pay rules, and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and support UKG Time & Attendance implementation activities end to end (design to go-live)
  • Run discovery workshops with HR, Payroll, Operations, and clinical scheduling stakeholders
  • Configure UKG timekeeping to support healthcare workforce needs (shifts, premiums, rules, exceptions)
  • Build and maintain pay rules, work rules, profiles, accrual policies, holiday rules, and attestation (where used)
  • Configure labour levels / labour categories and costing structures (as required)
  • Support device and clock setup (if applicable) and time capture methods (clock, badge, mobile)
  • Define and support integrations to payroll and downstream systems (requirements, mapping, validation)
  • Data conversion support (time balances, accruals, employee attributes, historical data where required)
  • Create test scripts and lead SIT and UAT (including defect triage and fixes)
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare/post go-live support
  • Produce clear documentation (configuration workbook, SOPs, admin guides) and deliver training to admins/super users
Required experience
  • Strong hands-on UKG Time & Attendance / Timekeeping implementation experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following UKG products:
    • UKG Dimensions (also known as UKG Pro WFM in some environments)
    • UKG Workforce Central (WFC) / Kronos
  • Confident configuring core time and attendance components (work rules, pay rules, accruals, schedules, exceptions)
  • Experience working in regulated, 24/7 operations (healthcare strongly preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Strong testing and troubleshooting capability (configuration and integration-related issues)
Nice to have (highly desirable)
  • Healthcare-specific timekeeping knowledge (shift differentials, on-call, call-back, meal/rest breaks, rounding, union rules)
  • Scheduling module experience (UKG Scheduling / Advanced Scheduler)
  • UKG clocks and devices exposure (for example InTouch, Kronos clocks)
  • UKG reporting and analytics experience (standard reports, Workforce Analytics)
  • Integration tooling exposure (for example Boomi/Dell Boomi, APIs, flat files, middleware)
  • UKG certifications (Timekeeping/Dimensions/WFC)
