Job Description:

As the VP, HRIS, you are a leader responsible for the Human Resources enterprise software ecosystem.  You bring expertise in implementing and optimising platforms such as Workday HCM and you understand the operational demands of companies engaged in M&A and Valuations.

Role Overview & Accountabilities:
  • Set the overall roadmap and oversee delivery of enterprise people systems, covering HR platforms, payroll technology, reward and performance solutions, and data and insight capability, including sophisticated workforce analytics tooling.
  • Serve as the connecting point between people functions, finance, technology teams, and senior stakeholders, shaping business requirements into scalable, value‑adding system solutions.
  • Own the lifecycle of the organisation’s core HR platform, including large-scale deployments, major releases, and functional expansions across areas such as core HR, pay, rewards, and talent management.
  • Work closely with business-facing teams to support organisational change activity, including system integration, employee data transition, and platform alignment following acquisitions or carve‑outs.
  • Maintain strong governance over employee and financial data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory and internal control frameworks relevant to HR and finance operations.
  • Manage third‑party technology partners, overseeing commercial agreements, service performance, and contractual outcomes across the HR technology landscape.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a globally distributed technology team, promoting continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation in how HR systems are delivered and supported.
  • Enable senior HR and Finance leaders with meaningful insights through dashboards, analytics, and planning tools designed for a professional services or financial services environment.
  • Continuously scan the market for new developments in human capital technology, advising on adoption decisions that support long‑term digital strategy and organisational readiness.
  • Communicate complex or sensitive topics with clarity and confidence, influencing stakeholders at multiple levels where outcomes have significant business implications.
  • Guide teams through periods of transformation, providing structure, support, and motivation while reinforcing the positive opportunities that change can bring.
  • Balance core organisational needs—such as frameworks, policies, and resourcing—with forward‑thinking approaches to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions.
  • Proactively develop team members by increasing their exposure, visibility, and leadership opportunities, while actively identifying and nurturing talent across the wider organisation.
Essential Needs:
  • 10+ years focused on HR technology
  • Expertise in Workday HCM and Payroll
  • Strong track record of implementing or optimizing Workday in a complex, multi-entity organization.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, data privacy, and regulatory environments impacting HR
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.
