A fast-growing enterprise consulting firm is looking for a VP of Sales to lead revenue growth across Workday, ERP, HCM, Finance, FP&A and wider professional services offerings.

This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, high-growth business at a foundational stage. The company is building a senior revenue function and needs someone who can operate strategically, but also stay hands-on with outbound sales, enterprise relationship building, partner channels and full-cycle deal execution.

The role will suit someone who has sold ERP, HCM, Finance, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Sage, FP&A or similar enterprise platform services into CFO, CHRO, HR, Finance or private equity-backed environments.

What you will be doing:
  • Own and drive new revenue growth across Workday, ERP, HCM, Finance and FP&A services
  • Build and manage a strong enterprise sales pipeline from prospecting through to signed agreements
  • Sell to senior stakeholders including CFOs, CHROs, founders, executives and PE operating partners
  • Develop outreach through direct prospecting, partner referrals, industry events and digital channels
  • Work closely with leadership and delivery teams to shape client solutions that can be delivered successfully
  • Build trusted relationships across the Workday, Sage, ERP, HR technology and professional services ecosystem
  • Help create sales materials, proposals, market positioning and go-to-market messaging
  • Represent the business at client meetings, conferences and partner events
  • Play a key role in building the future sales function as the company continues to scale
What we are looking for:
  • 7+ years of enterprise technology, ERP, HCM, FP&A or professional services sales experience
  • Strong understanding of Workday, ERP implementation cycles, business process discovery or managed services
  • Experience selling into Finance, HR, HCM, Corporate Finance, FP&A or private equity-backed companies
  • Ability to sell consultatively to senior stakeholders and navigate multi-person buying processes
  • Comfortable building pipeline from scratch and owning the full sales cycle
  • Strong commercial judgment, high accountability and a genuine ownership mindset
  • Able to operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial and flat business environment
  • Willing to travel regularly for client meetings, industry events and partner activity
  • Based in Dallas or open to relocating to Dallas, with relocation support available
Nice to have:
  • Direct Workday services, Workday Adaptive Planning or ERP consulting sales experience
  • Experience selling Sage, Sage Intacct, HCM platforms or finance transformation services
  • Previous experience helping build a revenue function in a growing business
  • Strong network across Workday, ERP, HR technology, finance transformation or consulting
What is on offer:
  • Senior leadership role with real influence over revenue strategy
  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus
  • Equity or share participation linked to long-term company growth
  • Opportunity to build and lead a sales function from an early stage
  • Direct access to senior leadership and decision makers
  • Hybrid working in Dallas
  • Relocation support available
  • High-growth environment with significant long-term upside
This is not a role for someone looking to simply inherit a fully built sales machine. It is best suited to someone who wants to build, own and scale a revenue function while staying close to the market, clients and commercial execution.
