Workday Compensation Analyst - 12 to 24 Month Contract (Open to Full-Time or Contract)
Our client is seeking a Workday Compensation Analyst to support ongoing configuration and enhancement of Workday Base and Advanced Compensation modules within a large Workday program. This is a long-term engagement offering the opportunity to work closely with functional leads and business partners across multiple HR workstreams.

You will play a key role in configuring and maintaining Workday Compensation processes, supporting both Base and Advanced Compensation areas. The role involves gathering business requirements, performing configurations, testing, and assisting with post-implementation support. You will collaborate with internal teams and other functional areas to ensure accurate and effective delivery of compensation processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Support configuration and testing of Workday Base and Advanced Compensation modules.
- Assist with business process setup, configuration documentation, and validation activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into configuration solutions aligned with Workday best practices.
- Work with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve compensation-related issues.
- Participate in requirement and design workshops with client process owners.
- Support ongoing AMS (Application Management Support) activities and system enhancements.
- Assist in testing and validation during merit, bonus, and compensation cycle events.
- Collaborate with other HCM areas including Benefits, Payroll, and Core HCM to ensure integration alignment.
- Track and document issues, risks, and resolutions, ensuring clear communication with leads and stakeholders.
- 4+ years of hands-on Workday experience (7+ years overall HRIS or HR systems experience).
- Strong configuration experience in Base Compensation and Advanced Compensation (certification preferred).
- Exposure to related HCM functional areas such as Benefits, Payroll, and Security.
- Understanding of compensation cycle processes (merit, bonus, ACR).
- Experience supporting Workday configuration within AMS or enhancement projects.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Experience working in distributed or global teams.
