  • Workstream lead ownership (design ? configure ? test ? data ? go-live support)

  • Drive solution design and configuration for Workday-native Canadian Payroll
  • Own and execute testing (including SIT/UAT support) and defect resolution
  • Lead key payroll deliverables including payroll data requirements and history load support (mid-year go-live expected)
  • Advise stakeholders on Canadian payroll rules and statutory requirements aligned to in-scope provinces (including Quebec)
  • Collaborate with adjacent workstreams (e.g., UK Payroll, HCM, Time/Absence where relevant) to ensure end-to-end readiness
  • Support cutover planning, go-live activities and hypercare
Required Experience & Skills
  • Required: Proven delivery experience with Workday native Canadian Payroll (design and configuration)
  • Required: Strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations and practical payroll processing considerations
  • Required: Experience leading a Payroll workstream (or acting as the primary module consultant owning delivery)
  • Required: End-to-end implementation capability across design, configuration, testing, and data
  • Required: Comfortable working with stakeholders across Canadian time zones when needed
  • Required: Experience supporting mid-year go-live scenarios and associated data/history considerations
Dealbreakers (Non-Negotiable Requirements)
  • Must have hands-on experience delivering Workday native Canadian Payroll (not just PECI / third-party payroll integrations)
  • Must have Canadian Payroll expertise (regulatory/statutory understanding, not only technical configuration)
  • Mandatory: Canadian Payroll Certification (as evidenced by certification/credential and relevant project delivery)
Desirable / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • French (Quebec) capability (nice to have, not required)
  • Experience with year-end concepts such as T4 / T4A / RL-1 (even if live year-end is not expected)
  • Broader Workday ecosystem exposure (HCM / Time Tracking / Absence) in integrated payroll programmes
