We are hiring for a Workday Extend/Student Administrator to own day to day tenant administration, configuration, security (primarily Workday Extend and Student), release support, and production troubleshooting. This role also designs, builds, and deploys Workday Extend applications and supports integration touchpoints. Partner closely with the Workday Platform Manager, Workday Operations team, and campus stakeholders.

What You Will Own
Workday Extend, primary focus
- Independently design, build, test, and deploy Workday Extend applications that run natively in Workday
- Build Extend apps that follow Workday data, business process, and security models
- Lead the conversion of student forms and workflows from legacy tools into Workday Extend
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, data needs, and security approach for Extend solutions
- Support platform scoping across configuration, integrations, security, and data
- Own day to day tenant administration and configuration for Workday Student, plus Finance as needed
- Act as the technical liaison between IT and functional teams across Workday Student (and Finance and HCM as needed)
- Troubleshoot issues across Student domains, business processes, conditional rules, and security access
- Maintain a stable production environment and lead production troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Serve as secondary security administrator for Workday Student (and Finance as needed)
- Manage security groups, roles, domain and business process security, and mappings aligned to segregation of duties and compliance
- Follow and enhance change control for security changes and integration related changes
- Maintain documentation and ensure data integrity, escalating conflicts and risks to the Workday Platform Manager as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of higher education and student information systems experience
- 2 to 3 years of Workday experience with hands-on Workday Student support
- Workday Extend experience is required (hands-on build and deploy)
