Overview / Role Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Consultant to provide comprehensive support and enhancements within the Workday ecosystem. This role will focus on L2/L3 production support and agile enhancements across various HCM modules. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to system stability, continuous improvement, and fostering strong stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Deliver enhancements by configuring business processes, security settings, and calculated fields.
- Support key Workday modules: Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Compensation.
- Manage releases by performing impact analysis, regression testing, and providing UAT support.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integration support and data validation.
- Build reports and dashboards to ensure data integrity and access control.
- Work in partnership with HR, IT, and vendors to drive issue resolution and improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and governance compliance.
- Must have 5–8 years of relevant Workday functional experience.
- Required strong AMS (support + enhancement) experience.
- Mandatory expertise in 2–3 modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.).
- Necessary experience in business process configuration, security, and reporting.
- Minimum knowledge of incident, problem, and change management practices.
- Required years of experience: 5+ years in Workday functional roles.
- Essential technical capability in Workday HCM modules.
- Exposure to integrations (EIB, Core Connectors) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Workday Pro Certifications
- Experience in global deployments are advantageous.
