Workday Payroll Analyst - Full Time (Contract through January 2026)

Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Analyst to support ongoing projects and AMS activities across multiple Workday environments. This is a full-time opportunity running through January 1, 2026, with potential for extension.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for supporting Workday Payroll operations, including resolving AMS tickets, assisting with configuration updates, and contributing to project work across multiple client environments. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday Payroll configuration and processing, combined with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve AMS Payroll tickets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support configuration and testing of Workday Payroll enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Assist in project-related payroll activities including configuration, validation, and UAT.
  • Analyze payroll issues and recommend appropriate system or process changes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Technical teams to support payroll-related integrations and reporting.
  • Participate in ongoing payroll cycle reviews and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and Workday best practices.
Skills & Experience
  • Workday Payroll certification required.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience (implementation or AMS).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll configuration, processing, and validation.
  • Experience with end-to-end payroll processes, including testing and reconciliation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Experience supporting multiple client environments preferred.
