Senior Manager, Workday – Finance 

About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Workday – Finance to lead the strategy, optimization, and delivery of Workday Financial solutions within a complex enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can bridge business and technology, drive system improvements, and lead a high-performing team.

You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across finance and operations to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that enhance efficiency and support organizational growth.
What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of Workday Finance solutions
• Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert across financial modules
• Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions
• Manage Workday enhancements, releases, and issue resolution
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and systems
• Communicate priorities, risks, and updates to stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
• Ensure consistent execution across testing, support, and delivery

What You Bring

• 7+ years of Workday experience (implementation, configuration, or sustainment)
• 10+ years of finance or business operations experience
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Strong accounting background (CPA or Controller experience preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials and FDM
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
• Workday certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare or higher education environments
• Workday Partner or Pro certification
