Lead the enterprise Workday function, ensuring platform stability, continuous improvement, and long-term value across Workday HCM, Financials, Adaptive Planning, and the transition into operational ownership for Workday Student. Own the operating model (intake to delivery), governance, release readiness, and partner performance, partnering closely with executives, business owners, PMO, and IT.

About the role
Lead the enterprise Workday function, ensuring platform stability, continuous improvement, and long-term value across Workday HCM, Financials, Adaptive Planning, and the transition into operational ownership for Workday Student. Own the operating model (intake to delivery), governance, release readiness, and partner performance, partnering closely with executives, business owners, PMO, and IT.
Key requirements
- 7 to 10 plus years Workday experience across HCM and Financials (Adaptive and or Student preferred)
- Senior leadership experience running Workday operations post go-live (intake, triage, backlog, delivery)
- Strong governance across configuration standards, security, data integrity, and change control
- Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
- Workday certifications in HCM, Finance, and or Student (Agile, Scrum, or ITSM is a plus)
- Set and run the Workday operating model for enhancements, fixes, and platform performance
- Lead and develop a multi-functional team across Workday modules
- Manage backlog delivery, service levels, metrics, and stakeholder communications
- Own bi-annual release management: impact analysis, testing coordination, readiness, and adoption
- Manage Workday and managed services partners: performance, outcomes, value, and escalations
