Workday Time Tracking & Absence Analyst - Contract (US or Canada)
Our client is seeking a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Analyst to join an active Workday program on a contract basis through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) opportunity for a certified consultant who can independently deploy Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions.

You will be responsible for supporting the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules. The role requires a mix of functional expertise and hands-on configuration experience to ensure accurate and compliant time and absence management processes are delivered to the business.

You will be responsible for supporting the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules. The role requires a mix of functional expertise and hands-on configuration experience to ensure accurate and compliant time and absence management processes are delivered to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules end-to-end.
- Participate in design workshops, gathering business requirements, and translating them into configuration specifications.
- Execute functional configurations, testing, and validation of time and absence processes.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Support deployment activities including data validation, user testing, and documentation.
- Ensure alignment with best practices across time and absence setup, accruals, time entry codes, and time calculations.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other integrated workstreams to ensure process consistency.
- Provide post go-live support and ongoing enhancements as needed.
- Minimum of 4 years of Workday experience with strong hands-on skills in Time Tracking and Absence.
- Proven ability to deploy modules independently from configuration through validation.
- Workday Implementation (Live Deployment) certification required.
- Strong understanding of accrual rules, absence plans, and time calculation groups.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively across distributed teams.
- Experience with end-to-end implementations or AMS support in Workday environments.
