We're seeking a seasoned Azure Security Engineer
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement robust Azure security architectures
- Monitor, assess, and remediate security risks and vulnerabilities across cloud workloads
- Implementation of identity and access management solutions (Azure AD, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access)
- Define and enforce governance policies through Azure Policy, Blueprints, and compliance automation
- Collaborate with cloud architects, compliance teams, and DevOps engineers to embed security across all stages of cloud development
- Deploy and manage Azure-native security tools (Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Key Vault, Security Center)
- Stay ahead of evolving threats and help shape the cloud security roadmap
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, with deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Expertise in Azure identity, network security, threat protection, encryption, and monitoring
- Practical experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in regulated environments
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is highly advantageous
