As a Lead Azure Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing the end-to-end cloud solution architecture for a large-scale web application hosted on Microsoft Azure. Working within a major consultancy on behalf of a leading gas company, you will ensure the solution meets all business, technical, security, and compliance requirements while providing architectural leadership across the delivery lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Proven ability to design enterprise-scale cloud solutions within complex, regulated environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with Azure networking and security services (e.g., Azure Front Door, APIM, Azure Gateway, Azure Defender, Qualys).
- Expertise in integration patterns, API-driven architectures, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience designing, reviewing, and validating Azure and/or GCP architectures.
- Strong understanding of NFRs and ability to define security baselines.
- Knowledge of cloud cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management processes, and compliance standards.
- Prior experience navigating Design Authority governance and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent).
