Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Lead new logo acquisition among enterprise and upper-mid-market clients in the EU.
- Develop and implement a territory growth strategy aligned with company revenue objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and secure opportunities across Cloud Consulting, Migration, Managed Services, and Security Operations.
- Engage C-suite executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, CFO) and establish our client as a trusted partner in digital transformation.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract signature and delivery hand-off.
- Solution & Domain Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in Cloud Migration, FinOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Security Operations, and Infrastructure Modernization.
- Analyze client IT environments and transformation strategies, aligning proposals with measurable business metrics (cost reduction, agility, resilience).
- Collaborate with presales teams, solution architects, and delivery SMEs to develop compelling and value-driven proposals.
- Conduct executive presentations, craft value propositions, and lead workshops to showcase our client’s capabilities.
- Partner & Ecosystem Engagement
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners (Microsoft, AWS, GCP, ServiceNow) to create co-sell opportunities and obtain funding.
- Work closely with OEMs, ISVs, and alliance teams to forge joint go-to-market strategies.
- Engage in partner marketing events, forums, and roundtables to enhance market presence.
- Sales Governance
- Oversee deal evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization processes.
- Collaborate with delivery and service management to ensure seamless onboarding and sustain long-term client satisfaction.
- Provide insights contributing to go-to-market strategy, competitive positioning, and pricing methodologies.
Required Experience & Skills
- Mandatory: 11+ years in IT Services sales, with demonstrated success in selling Cloud Infrastructure, Managed Services, or Security Operations deals.
- Must: Proven track record in new business development, especially acquiring net-new enterprise clients in the EU.
- Necessary: Strong grasp of cloud transformation processes — consulting, migration, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and managed operations.
- Required: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP ecosystems, with a strong understanding of partner sales collaborations and incentive structures.
- Certified: Exceptional commercial acumen, capable of crafting TCV/ACV deals, consumption-based pricing strategies, and multi-year managed service contracts.
- Mandatory: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage and influence executive leadership.
- Essential: Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex RFP responses.
- Legal authorization to work in Germany.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience in IT Services.
- Required fluent proficiency in both German and English.
