Cutover Lead
We are hiring a Cutover Lead to join a leading global organisation within the publishing sector, operating across multiple international markets.
Our client is undertaking a large and complex migration programme, moving from a legacy enterprise web application to another and they require a Cutover lead to own readiness, cutover and hyper-care. The application has global remit and is complex in terms of integrations.
Location: Hybrid working, 2 days per week in London
As the successful Cutover Lead you will;
• Lead the end-to-end cutover strategy, planning, and execution across a large-scale programme
• Define and manage detailed cutover plans, runbooks, and checklists to ensure successful deployment
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues related to cutover activities
• Ensure alignment between project delivery timelines and cutover execution
• Oversee data migration, system readiness, and business readiness activities
• Facilitate cutover rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and go-live planning sessions
• Act as the central point of coordination during go-live and hypercare periods
• Ensure clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders throughout the cutover lifecycle
• Drive governance, controls, and best practices for cutover management
You will have strong experience in:
• Proven experience as a Cutover Lead within large-scale transformation programmes
• A background in project/programme delivery
• Experience working on enterprise application implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM, or similar platforms)
• Demonstrable experience managing end-to-end cutover planning and execution
• Excellent organisational, planning, and coordination skills
• Strong risk and issue management capabilities
• Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and manage critical go-live activities
