Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and support data products and ETL pipelines ensuring strong performance and data integrity
- Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to best practice development
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing data products to ensure operational stability
- Assist with incident investigations to improve reliability and data custodianship
- Contribute to enhancements in security, resilience, and maintainability of data systems
- Stay up to date with emerging tech and modern engineering approaches
Key Skills:
- Strong SQL and experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimisation)
- Hands-on ETL development using SSIS
- Reporting experience with Power BI including DAX and data modelling
- Solid understanding of data engineering, data modelling, and ERD design
- Knowledge of data validation, transformation, and loading techniques
