This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and maintaining trusted internal and external data sources to ensure they are credible, up-to-date, and aligned with NESO needs and data governance policies.

Key skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data sourcing or data flows/lineage.
- Strong experience in data modelling (essential for entity-driven ADS).
- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA CDMP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with data management tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data lineage practices.
- Consulting background is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Rights to work in the UK is must (No Sponsorship available)
- Identify and discover authoritative data sources across internal and external domains.
- Collaborate with data architects, data owners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to assess and validate authoritative sources.
- Develop, implement, and enforce governance policies and standards related to authoritative data sources.
- Document data flows, provenance, and metadata to ensure transparency, traceability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to team members and data consumers on interpreting and leveraging authoritative data assets.
