Enterprise Architect
We’re working with a leading technology consultancy delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes across the UK and Europe, particularly within the public sector and regulated industries.
They’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic technical leadership across complex, multi-stream programmes. This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll shape end-to-end architecture, guide delivery teams, and ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and built for long-term evolution.

They’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic technical leadership across complex, multi-stream programmes. This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll shape end-to-end architecture, guide delivery teams, and ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and built for long-term evolution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define and own enterprise-wide architecture across complex programmes
- Lead technical governance, design reviews, and key architectural decisions
- Oversee integration strategy with a focus on API-first, event-driven design
- Ensure alignment across multiple delivery workstreams, avoiding duplication and risk
- Guide high-risk areas such as data migration, legacy transformation, and compliance-driven design
- Engage senior stakeholders and governance bodies, producing architecture artefacts for review
- Support delivery teams with clear design principles and practical guidance
- Identify and manage architectural risks, ensuring proactive resolution
- Strong experience as an Enterprise or Lead Architect on large-scale programmes
- Deep knowledge of cloud-based architectures (ideally Microsoft Azure)
- Experience with API-led, event-driven, and microservices architectures
- Background in complex system integration and data platform design
- Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g. government or financial services)
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly
- Experience working across multiple parallel workstreams
- Experience with modern data platforms and governance approaches
- Knowledge of public sector digital standards and secure cloud principles
- Relevant certifications (e.g. cloud architecture, enterprise architecture frameworks)
- Day rate: to be discussed
- Remote (UK based only)
- Must hold active SC Clearance
- Start date: 2nd week of May
- Duration: 3 months with possible extension based on project scope
