Full Stack Developer (Node.js / TypeScript / React / AWS) – 6 Month Contract

We are working with an established organisation looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a critical project on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be available to start immediately or within one week, with interviews taking place this week.
This role involves taking ownership of an existing platform with a significant backlog of development work. You'll be responsible for delivering new features, optimising existing functionality, and improving the performance of a low-latency, high-frequency application.
The role is approximately 70% back-end development and 30% front-end development.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js
- Excellent knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience developing front-end applications with React
- Strong experience with AWS, including serverless architecture
- Understanding of cloud security principles and secure application development
- Experience working on low-latency and high-throughput/high-frequency applications
- Proven experience optimising application performance and scalability
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of API development and back-end architecture
- Hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite in Central London
- Initial 6-month contract
- Interviews taking place immediately
