Key skills:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using Google Cloud Functions (Python or Node.js).
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Manage and query relational databases with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Implement trigger-based workflows and file operations via Google Cloud Storage.
- Configure and manage Google Cloud IAM (service accounts and permissions).
- Integrate and manage APIs using Apigee API Management.
- Develop and maintain automation tools using Excel VBA macros.
- Maintain repositories and CI/CD pipelines with Git and Azure DevOps Repos.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality cloud solutions.
- Consulting background is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Rights to work in the UK is must (No Sponsorship available)
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js for cloud function development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Functions, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, IAM).
- Familiarity with Apigee API Gateway for API management and integration.
- Working knowledge of Excel macros/VBA scripting for automation.
- Good understanding of version control and CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps Repos.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- GCP certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer) are a plus.
- Experience working with large datasets and ETL pipelines.
