We need a hands-on Java and Full Stack Developer on a 6 month contract buiilding high-performance systems for a financial services end client on behalf of a prestigious Tier One Consultancy, who hold a longstanding relationship with the end customer.
You will be responsible as their internal Java and wider development SME, for helping their end customer teams shape their coding and technical understanding of the platform for this investment bank.
Core Requirements:
The role will involve 2-3 days per week onsite in Central London.
This is an inside IR35 contract role, and you will be required to operate via an FCSA approved umbrella company for this role.

Core Requirements:
- Strong Java development experience (Java 11+ preferred)
- Stong Spring and Spring Boot back-end experience
- Proven experience with Kafka and real-time stream processing
- Confident in designing and building RESTful APIs
- Comfortable working across full stack (React / Angular experience a plus)
- Experience in financial services or other high-compliance, high-performance environments
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Microservices architecture
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- SQL and NoSQL databases
