Role – We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer to join our dynamic and agile development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, enhancing, and delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and robust performance of our backend services.
 
Key skills:
 
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java server-side development, with strong Spring Boot and JUnit skills.
  • Deep understanding of concurrent programming and multithreaded environments.
  • Proficiency in relational databases such as Sybase and/or DB2, including complex SQL query writing.
  • Solid grasp of message-driven systems (e.g., MQ, Kafka).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a methodical and analytical mindset.
  • End-to-end knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working within agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Consulting background is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java (Java 11+) and Spring Boot, employing both object-oriented and functional programming principles.
  • Leverage Spring Boot annotations and configurations to streamline application setup and deployment.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between microservices.
  • Optimize service scalability, performance, and reliability across distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and designers to define and deliver new features.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment.
  • Use Git and other version control tools effectively for source code management.
  • Work with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools to maintain smooth integration and deployment processes.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a microservices-based architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and support continuous learning within the team.
