Role – We are looking for an experienced Lead SAP Finance VIM Consultant to take ownership of Vendor Invoice Management delivery within a large-scale SAP transformation programme. This is a key leadership role within a greenfield implementation and enhancement landscape, where you will drive the design, configuration, and deployment of automated invoice processing solutions across SAP S/4HANA environments.

Role – We are looking for an experienced Lead SAP Finance VIM Consultant to take ownership of Vendor Invoice Management delivery within a large-scale SAP transformation programme. This is a key leadership role within a greenfield implementation and enhancement landscape, where you will drive the design, configuration, and deployment of automated invoice processing solutions across SAP S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP VIM (OpenText) across implementation and rollout phases
- Own solution design, ensuring alignment with SAP Finance (FI) and Procurement (MM) processes
- Engage with senior business stakeholders to define process design and transformation strategy
- Drive E2E testing strategy (SIT, UAT, performance testing) and ensure quality delivery
- Provide leadership across functional teams, including coordination with IT, QA, and third-party vendors
- Ensure adherence to template governance and standardisation principles
- Oversee workflow automation, exception handling, and invoice processing optimisation
- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP VIM within the programme
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as an SAP Finance VIM Consultant, including lead/architect-level responsibilities
- Strong expertise in:
- OpenText VIM (including ICC, Archive Server)
- SAP Finance (AP, AR, GL)
- SAP MM integration
- Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end SAP implementations
- Strong understanding of accounts payable automation and invoice lifecycle management
- Experience leading testing, defect management, and release cycles
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and business leaders
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
