Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Platform Leadership
- Define and own end-to-end mobile platform architecture, including:
- Mobile applications
- APIs and backend services
- Integration layers
- Establish engineering standards, patterns, and guardrails across teams.
- Lead platform simplification, reducing duplication and technical debt.
- Define and own end-to-end mobile platform architecture, including:
- Engineering Excellence
- Champion best practices in:
- Clean architecture
- CI/CD automation
- Testing strategies
- Observability and telemetry
- Performance optimisation
- Secure-by-design principles
- Ensure high reliability, resilience, and offline capability for field environments.
- Champion best practices in:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Operations teams to:
- Align data models and integration patterns
- Ensure consistent UX and platform standards
- Support delivery of mobile capabilities that improve:
- Safety and compliance
- Customer experience
- Field productivity
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Operations teams to:
- Innovation & AI Enablement
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices, including:
- Automation and diagnostics
- Telemetry-driven insights
- AI-assisted workflows
- Ensure responsible AI implementation aligned with governance and compliance standards.

Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as a Senior / Principal Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in:
- Mobile application architecture
- Backend APIs and microservices
- Integration patterns across complex systems
- Proven ability to define and influence engineering standards across multiple teams.
- Strong experience with:
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Automated testing and observability
- Performance tuning and platform optimisation
- Experience designing resilient, offline-capable mobile solutions
- Ability to solve complex, cross-domain technical challenges.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
