Role – We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of releases across a multi-brand Salesforce platform. This role is critical in ensuring predictable, high-quality deployments while maintaining platform stability, governance, and alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage Salesforce release strategy (pilot, phased, wave-based, or big-bang)
- Own and maintain the enterprise release calendar, aligned with business milestones and Salesforce release cycles
- Establish and enforce release governance, standards, and approval processes
- Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans across releases
- Oversee Salesforce environments:
- Development
- QA / SIT
- UAT
- Pre-Production
- Production
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
- Copado
- Gearset
- Salesforce DevOps Center
- Flosum
- Coordinate deployments, hotfixes, and rollbacks across multiple workstreams
- Maintain deployment runbooks and release documentation
- Lead release readiness reviews and go-live activities
- Communicate release status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders and leadership
Key Skills:
- 6+ years’ experience in Salesforce delivery, release management, or platform operations
- Proven experience managing multi-brand or multi-org Salesforce releases
- Strong understanding of:
- Salesforce environments and metadata
- Deployment and release processes
- Experience with Agile / SAFe / enterprise delivery models
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Strong experience in:
- Release and change management
- Risk and dependency management
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- Confluence
- ServiceNow
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage complex, parallel release cycles
