About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant to join a leading global consulting organisation on a large-scale S/4HANA transformation program.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an international environment, delivering high-impact finance and controlling solutions across a complex global landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong end-to-end understanding of financial processes and deep hands-on experience in Record-to-Report, Product Costing, and Margin Analysis within SAP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver SAP FICO solutions within an S/4HANA environment, focusing on finance, controlling, and profitability processes.

  • Drive workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.

  • Perform configuration, testing, and implementation activities across FICO submodules, ensuring seamless integration with other process areas.

  • Support the global finance transformation with expertise in Record-to-Report, Product Costing, and FP&A.

  • Collaborate closely with global teams, IT architects, and business leads to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.

  • Contribute to go-live, cut-over, and hypercare activities, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and documentation.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10–15 years of SAP experience, with a strong background in Finance and Controlling (FICO).

  • Proven hands-on experience in the following areas:

    • Record-to-Report (RTR): Broad experience across General Ledger, Asset Accounting / Project Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.

    • Product Costing & Actual Costing: Multiple full-cycle implementations and strong design experience in global environments.

    • Margin Analysis & FP&A: Deep functional knowledge of profitability and planning processes.

    • Strong understanding of integration points between FICO and related modules (MM, SD, PP).

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in global, cross-functional teams.

    • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

    • Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Amsterdam, with occasional travel within the EU.

      Preferred / Nice-to-Have
      • Experience working for or with global consulting organisations.

      • Strong analytical and business partnering skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
