About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Architect to join our client’s technology team for a long-term engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising advanced Azure cloud solutions, with a strong focus on data engineering, analytics, and architecture best practices.
Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience (7+ years) in cloud architecture with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
Deep technical expertise in:
Azure Databricks (data engineering, Spark, notebooks, ETL processes)
Azure Synapse Analytics (data warehousing, analytics pipelines)
Azure Data Factory (data orchestration, integration, and automation)
Tableau (data visualization and reporting)
Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data governance.
Proficiency in Python or SQL for data transformation and scripting.
Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code using ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
