Role – We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GCP Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our client's Public Cloud Platform team, driving Google Cloud Platform (GCP) adoption and innovation across the enterprise. You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and resilient GCP infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices, enabling teams to deploy cloud solutions efficiently and safely. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will help shape GCP strategy, architecture, and automation frameworks, contributing to a culture of cloud excellence and continuous improvement.

Role – We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GCP Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our client's Public Cloud Platform team, driving Google Cloud Platform (GCP) adoption and innovation across the enterprise. You will play a key role in building secure, scalable, and resilient GCP infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern DevOps practices, enabling teams to deploy cloud solutions efficiently and safely. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will help shape GCP strategy, architecture, and automation frameworks, contributing to a culture of cloud excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on GCP engineering with strong expertise in DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Design, build, and maintain GCP Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / Terraform Cloud.
- Develop and automate workflows and tools using Python scripting.
- Curate GCP Cloud Products and Infrastructure aligned with organisational standards.
- Manage and optimise Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, Istio Service Mesh, and container orchestration.
- Audit and restructure existing Terraform modules and state files for scalability and compliance.
- Implement security-focused Terraform modules with policy-as-code (Sentinel, OPA).
- Enforce GCP Organisation Policies, including access, encryption, and network governance.
- Integrate IaC with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in GCP Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Expert-level skills in Terraform / Terraform Cloud and Python scripting.
- Proficient in GKE, Containers, Istio Service Mesh, and cloud automation.
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline design (Harness, Jenkins, GitHub).
- Experience with GCP Organisation Policy, Custom Org Policies, and Policy-as-Code frameworks (Sentinel / OPA).
- Certified in Google Cloud and Terraform (Associate or Professional level).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
