Job Summary
We are working with a market-leading consultancy that’s expanding its SAP practice across the UK and Europe. We’re seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA PP Consultant to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to drive full-lifecycle SAP projects—from pre-sales through delivery—across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP Production Planning expertise and strong leadership skills to deliver impactful S/4HANA PP transformations.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales engagements and oversee delivery of large-scale SAP S/4HANA Production Planning implementations (MRP, BOM, Routing, Production Orders, Capacity Planning)
• Facilitate workshops with senior manufacturing and operations stakeholders to capture requirements and design SAP PP solutions
• Configure, test and support SAP S/4HANA PP modules alongside technical, integration (MM, QM, PM) and shop-floor teams
• Produce solution designs, functional specifications and detailed process maps for Plan-to-Produce processes
• Develop system demos, contribute to proposal responses, and provide accurate effort and cost estimates
• Manage cutover planning, data migration validation (master data, transactional data) and hypercare support through go-live
• Stay current on SAP PP innovations (SAP Fiori for PP, Advanced ATP, embedded analytics for production)
• Mentor junior consultants and foster a culture of continuous knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive SAP PP consulting background, with at least two full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations
• Hands-on expertise across core PP processes: Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, Production Orders, Capacity Planning
• Strong understanding of Plan-to-Produce processes and global manufacturing best practices
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori PP apps, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, and standard S/4 embedded analytics for production
• Experience integrating PP with MM, QM or PM is advantageous
• Comfortable operating in matrix delivery teams using both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality documentation, solution designs and test scripts
