Role – We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Architect to lead the design, delivery, and enhancement of Security Operations on the ServiceNow platform for a major UK energy sector organisation. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of cybersecurity, ServiceNow, and critical national infrastructure. You will drive enterprise-scale SecOps solutions that strengthen cyber resilience, incident response, and operational security across business and OT environments. You will shape SecOps architecture, integrations, and platform governance while influencing strategic security decisions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow SecOps capabilities, including:
- Security Incident Response (SIR)
 - Vulnerability Response (VR)
 - Threat Intelligence
 - Configuration Compliance
 
 - Define secure processes and automation across vulnerability management and incident response.
 - Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with cybersecurity platforms (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, CMDB, threat intel, OT/ICS security tools).
 - Establish SecOps roadmap, standards, and best practices across business units.
 - Ensure scalable, secure, reusable architecture aligned with enterprise and ServiceNow standards.
 - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, implementation, and platform teams.
 - Partner with Cyber, IT, Cloud, and Engineering stakeholders to drive platform adoption and maturity.
 
Key Skills:
- Proven background as a ServiceNow Architect with strong delivery experience across SecOps and/or IRM.
 - Deep understanding of security operations, incident response, vulnerability lifecycle, and tool integrations.
 - Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow configuration, scripting, workflows, CMDB, Discovery, and integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server).
 - Experience supporting organisations with critical infrastructure (energy, utilities, OT/ICS highly desirable).
 - Strong stakeholder engagement skills — able to influence security leadership, execs, and engineering teams.
 - Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, and resilience/security governance frameworks.
 - Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS – SecOps).
