Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead to drive the design, implementation, and support of payroll solutions within a large-scale HR transformation programme. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you will act as the subject matter expert for payroll, ensuring compliant, efficient, and fully integrated solutions across SAP and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Solution Leadership
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Act as the SME for payroll processes and system capabilities
- Drive payroll design aligned with business, statutory, and compliance requirements
- Configuration & Implementation
- Configure core payroll components, including:
- Payroll schemas, rules, and wage types
- Time valuation and payroll control records
- Off-cycle payrolls, retroactivity, and corrections
- Support data migration from legacy payroll systems
- Oversee payroll testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT, parallel runs)
- Configure core payroll components, including:
- Integration & Data Flow
- Lead integrations between:
- Employee Central (EC) and ECP
- SAP S/4HANA or ECC
- Time, Benefits, Finance, and third-party payroll systems
- Ensure accurate data replication using middleware / SAP Integration Suite
- Lead integrations between:
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure payroll compliance with local statutory, tax, and labour regulations
- Manage audits, controls, and payroll reconciliation processes
- Support year-end payroll processing and statutory reporting
- Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership
- Act as the primary contact for HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors
- Lead workshops, design sessions, and knowledge transfer
- Mentor consultants and oversee deliverables
- Support planning, estimation, and risk management
Key Skills:
- 8+ years’ experience in SAP HCM Payroll / SuccessFactors ECP
- Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in:
- Payroll schemas, wage types, and tax models
- Payroll Control Center (PCC)
- Garnishments, deductions, and payroll processing
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end payroll solutions
- Experience with:
- Payroll data migration and reconciliation
- UAT and parallel payroll testing
- Regulatory updates and compliance
- Strong understanding of integration with EC, Finance, and external providers
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
