Systems Accountant
Remote working with travel to Dubline (1-2 times per month)
A media organisation is seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to provide post-implementation support following a recent Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance rollout. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong blend of accounting expertise, ERP systems knowledge and reporting capability to help embed D365 into the day-to-day finance operations.
Working closely with the finance team, you will support month-end reporting, improve reporting processes, develop management information and help users maximise the benefits of Dynamics 365. You'll also act as a key point of contact for finance systems queries, process improvements and user training.
They are looking for a UK based candidate who is happy with regular trips to Dublin.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-implementation support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Support finance users with D365 processes, troubleshooting and best practice.
- Improve month-end close processes and reporting efficiency.
- Produce monthly management accounts and management reporting packs.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support income statement reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting.
- Develop advanced Excel reporting models and analytical tools.
- Train and mentor finance users to improve adoption of D365.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and reporting enhancements.
- Work with finance leadership to embed robust financial controls and reporting processes.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar finance systems role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance & Operations / Dynamics 365 Finance) in a post-implementation or business-as-usual support environment.
- Excellent understanding of finance processes including:
- Month-end close
- Management accounts
- Management reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Income statement reporting
- Forecasting
- Financial analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience.
- Experience improving finance processes and supporting ERP adoption.
- Confident communicator with the ability to train and support finance teams.
- Experience working alongside ERP implementation teams or supporting ERP go-lives would be advantageous.
- D365 Finance configuration knowledge, including dimensions and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting ERP hypercare or post-go-live stabilisation.
- Process improvement and finance transformation experience.
- Stakeholder management across finance and technology teams.
