Role – We’re seeking an experienced Workday Finance/HCM Security Lead to join our client's team on a freelance basis. This role focuses on defining and implementing complex security configurations for Workday Financial Management and HCM, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
As the Workday Finance/HCM Security Lead, you will work closely with finance, HR, and IT stakeholders to design and manage security roles, policies, and processes, supporting a secure and seamless Workday environment.

As the Workday Finance/HCM Security Lead, you will work closely with finance, HR, and IT stakeholders to design and manage security roles, policies, and processes, supporting a secure and seamless Workday environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday Financial Management/HCM security solutions.
- Define and manage security roles, permissions, and policies across Workday Finance and HCM.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable Workday solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on Workday security best practices and governance.
- Support testing, validation, and documentation of security configurations.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on security processes and tools.
Key Skills:
- Workday Financial Management or HCM Certified.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and managing Workday Security (Finance + HCM modules)
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex security frameworks in Workday.
- Strong understanding of Workday security model, business processes, domains, and roles.
- Experience with auditing, compliance, and security governance in Workday.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical security solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in French (English is a bonus).
