The Opportunity We’re partnering with a leading consulting organisation delivering a major Finance Management transformation for a global financial services client.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role working across end-to-end finance processes – Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). You’ll work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, including CFOs, and be part of complex, enterprise-scale initiatives to implement, optimise, and maintain financial management solutions.

You’ll work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, including CFOs, and be part of complex, enterprise-scale initiatives to implement, optimise, and maintain financial management solutions.
Finance Consultant – Key Focus Areas
- Lead functional design workshops with Finance stakeholders to capture requirements
- Configure core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Banking & Settlement)
- Support Chart of Accounts design, accounting rules, allocations, and financial reporting
- Drive data migration, validation, and integration with ERP, Payroll, Banking, and Tax systems
- Develop and test reports, dashboards, and analytics for Finance leadership
- Manage business processes, approvals, workflows, and compliance controls
- Support system testing, cutover planning, and post go-live stabilisation
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to business teams
- Hands-on experience in finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Banking & Settlement)
- Business Process configuration, security, and system setup experience
- Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, and dashboards
- Solid grounding in accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)
- Multi-entity and multi-currency experience
- Experience with audit, compliance, and controls (SOX, statutory reporting)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Exposure to the UK finance industry
- Experience in large-scale finance transformation programmes
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting
