About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Integrations Lead to join the Workday/Technical team. As the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of integrations between Workday and a range of internal and external systems.
You will play a key role in driving integration strategy and best practices across the HR technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workday integrations, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Act as the go-to Workday Integrations specialist within the business being a critical member of the team with the over-arching view of the integrations landscape
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other Workday tools.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing technical support and optimisation.
- Maintain integration documentation and follow internal change management and security protocols.
- Serve as the Workday integration SME, mentoring junior team members and supporting integration-related governance.
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party platforms requiring integration with Workday.
- Stay current with Workday updates, releases, and new integration capabilities.
- Proven experience (3+ years) working on Workday integrations in a lead or senior role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- The ability to act as the go-to Workday Integrations specialist within the business being a critical member of the team with the over-arching view of the integrations landscape providing both technical and strategic expertise to the organisation, with the ability to support existing integrations as well as building new integrations.
- Solid understanding of HCM and Payroll modules within Workday.
- The ability to champion and promote best practice and increase Workday Technical Knowledge and capability across a Global Workday landscape.
- Experience managing complex integration landscapes across global environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Workday certification(s) in Integration or Studio highly desirable.
