The Opportunity We’re supporting a global organisation on a senior Workday Integrations hire within their Group IT function. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own and evolve the Workday integration landscape end-to-end, acting as the key interface between HR, IT, and external partners.
You’ll combine hands-on technical delivery with strategic advisory, ensuring stable, secure, and scalable integrations across a global environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and deliver Workday integrations end-to-end (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs)
• Ensure stable, secure, high-performance data flows across systems
• Act as the primary integration contact for internal teams and external vendors
• Lead troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Drive automation across testing, monitoring, and operations
• Support Workday releases (R1/R2) and continuous improvements
• Advise stakeholders on integration architecture and best practices
• Contribute to global HR IT initiatives and system enhancements
What We’re Looking For Essential
• 5+ years hands-on Workday integrations experience
• Strong expertise in EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs
• Solid knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, Web Services, SFTP
• Strong understanding of HR processes and Workday data structures
• Experience with Workday security (ISUs, ISSGs, domain permissions)
• Proven ability to operate hands-on and stakeholder-facing at senior level
Desirable
• Workday Extend experience
• Technical project management exposure
