About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Workday Recruiting Specialist to join our growing HRIS team. This is a pivotal role responsible for optimising and configuring the Workday Recruiting module to support and enhance our talent acquisition strategy across the business. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in leading the end-to-end configuration of Workday Recruiting and a passion for improving user experience and process efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of the Workday Recruiting module, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and recruitment strategy.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to translate operational needs into system solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Recruiting, delivering enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and supporting change management efforts.
  • Upskill, train and mentor team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and external consultants to ensure data integrity, system stability, and process alignment.
  • Deliver user training, create documentation, and support adoption across relevant business units.
  • Maintain system governance and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support reporting and dashboard creation to enhance recruiting insights and data-driven decision-making.
  • Any experience or involvement with Workday Talent & Performance is considered a strong advantage.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Workday Recruiting configuration, with a track record of having led optimisation projects.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-impact system improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exposure to or interest in Workday Talent & Performance is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid role with occasional UK travel.
  • Highly organised with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Desirable:
  • Workday certification in Recruiting (or other relevant modules).
  • Experience in an international or matrixed organisation.
  • Background in HR systems beyond Workday (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors) is a bonus.
